Shipping options and charges

Wearsos is pleased to provide international shipping via our partnership with DHL, ensuring a seamless and reliable delivery experience. Our shipping costs are determined by the items in your order and the delivery destination. It's important to note that shipping prices, as well as duties and taxes, are subject to local regulations, which may vary from one country to another. These charges are outside the control of WEARSOS and are the responsibility of each customer.

Shipping Timeline

Upon completing your purchase with Wearsos, your order will be promptly dispatched via our partner, DHL. DHL will handle the shipment from our facility to its final international destination.

Typically, most in-stock items are shipped within 3-5 business days from the receipt of your order. During checkout, you will be provided with a specific shipping range tailored to your destination.

Please keep in mind that all shipping timelines are estimates, and while we strive for accuracy, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed due to various factors beyond our control.

Shipping Within Costa Rica

For our customers in Costa Rica, Wearsos is pleased to offer local shipping services through Correos de Costa Rica.

Shipping Fees
The shipping fees for local orders generally range from $6 to $10 USD. However, please note that these costs can vary depending on the specific location within Costa Rica and the size of the package.

Delivery Timeline
We strive to ensure prompt delivery for all our local orders. The estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of checkout, and will be dependent on Correos de Costa Rica.

Duties and Taxes

For orders with Wearsos, Taxes and VAT are calculated based on the destination country's regulations and will be applied as necessary. Please be aware that orders shipped to international destinations may incur customs fees and duties taxes. These charges are typically paid upon delivery when applicable. The exact amount of these fees can vary depending on the specific regulations of the destination country. It’s important for customers to be aware of these potential additional costs when placing an international order.

Return/Refund Policy

Due to our limited stock and small production runs we do not offer returns or refunds at the moment.

However, if an item is defective, we do offer an exchange for a new item or store credit. The exchange must be made within 14 days of receipt.

To be eligible for the exchange or store credit, the purchased item(s) must be unused, in the same condition that it was delivered, have all tags and be in the original packaging. To apply for an exchange send us an email to support@wearsos.co with the details of the exchange, pictures of the deffective piece, and attach the receipt or proof of purchase to the email.

How can I track my order?

As soon as your order is shipped we will send you a track & trace code by mail. This way you can track your order.

Keep in mind that it can take up to 48 hours before the track & trace is available. Can't track your package after 48h? Please send us an email to support@wearsos.co and we will be happy to assist you.

Do I have to create an account?

No, you don't have to create an account. However, we strongly recommend that you create an account so that you can take advantage of the various benefits it offers. For example, you will be able to access your account easily the next time you visit us, and you will also be able to get personalized recommendations and services tailored to your needs. By creating an account with us, you will be able to make the most out of our services and save time in the future.

How do I change my account password?

If you have forgotten your password, don't worry. You can easily reset it by clicking the 'forgot password' link. Once you click the link, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create a new password. Follow the instructions to set a new password that is secure and easy to remember. Remember to keep your password safe and never share it with anyone.

Are the upcycled products of good quality?

Where are Wearsos Products made?

In the town of Mollejones, Costa Rica, the leather is stripped from retired Southwest Airlines airplane seats, salvaging the material to give it a new purpose. 

Once the leather is collected, it is then transported to our workshop located in downtown Turrialba, Costa Rica. In this vibrant community, our talented artisans skillfully sew and assemble the leather to create the exquisite Wearsos bags and accessories you love. The workshop serves as the heart of our production, where attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship are evident in every piece we create.

By engaging both the rural community of Mollejones and the artisans in Turrialba, Wearsos proudly contributes to the livelihood of local communities. 

About Wearsos Products

How do I care for my products?

Keep it Dry: While Wearsos bags are water-resistant, it's essential to avoid prolonged exposure to water or heavy rain. If your bag does get wet, gently pat it dry with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area.

Avoid Extreme Heat and Sunlight: To preserve the quality of the leather and prevent discoloration, avoid leaving your bag in direct sunlight or exposing it to high temperatures.

Clean with Care: If your bag gets dirty, gently wipe the affected area with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials, as they may damage the leather's surface.

What are the materials used?

Southwest Airlines seats are made from ELeather. ELeather is an award-winning, environmentally-friendly material made from diverted leather with a reduced environmental impact. Used in 4 out of 5 of the world’s largest airlines, this material pioneered by GenPhoenix allows 

In addition to leather from airline seats, we also use Piñatex, a limited edition pineapple leather made from pineapple fibers, we minimize the demand for new leather and significantly reduce the environmental impacts associated with traditional leather production.

Is the product Waterproof? 

Wearsos bags are designed to withstand the elements, offering excellent water resistance to protect your belongings in light rain and spills. However, it is essential to note that while Wearsos bags are water-resistant, they are not intended to be fully submerged in water. Prolonged exposure to water or heavy rain may affect the bag's water-resistant qualities.

What is a Made to Order Product?

A made to order product from Wearsos is a unique creation tailored to your individual wants, needs, and ideas. While we offer curated product collections, such as the Do Good Collection, and the Made by Teresa Collection our commitment to customization means we welcome your unique concepts. Whether it's altering the size, incorporating branded fabric, or adding hand-painted designs, we are here to make your idea a reality.

When Will I Receive My Made to Order Product?

The production timeline for your made to order product is influenced by various factors, including the intricacy of the design, product size, artwork details, and more. Generally, we aim to complete the design and production process within 2-4 weeks. 

Your customized creation will be shipped using DHL courier services. For specific details, please refer to our "Shipping Timeline" section above.

Can I Get a Refund on My Made to Order Product?

As each made to order product is crafted exclusively for you, we cannot offer returns or exchanges. We are committed to ensuring your vision and creation meets your expectations, and our team is here to assist you throughout the customization process.
